Playback¶
Playback is only available for recordings that are finished (stopped).
To play a recording, click the three dots on a recording in the dashboard and select Watch
View Modes¶
A recording can be viewed in either Playback or Document view. You can change the view mode using the selector in the upper right hand corner of the player next to the menu.
Playback¶
Playback mode allows you to view the recording in a video style playback. When playback is paused, the document can be scrolled to view different parts of it. After clicking play, the view of the document will snap back to its position in the recording
Document¶
Document mode allows you to view the final contents of the recording in a document form. The document is fully navigable.
Playback tools¶
When a recording is paused, or when the recording is in document mode, there are 2 different tools you can use to interact with the recording.
Pan tool¶
The pan tool allows navigating the recording using your cursor.
Select tool¶
The select tool allows you to select assets in a recording and go to the time in the recording where the asset was created or manipulated.
Note
If Notaker is unable to find a good time to jump to, available timestamps to jump to will be displayed.
Additionally, note that if an asset was created outside of a recording, it will show up in the recording, but you will not be able to jump to it.
